E-charging station for electric cars in the Explorer Hotels
Are you traveling with your electric car and want to know if you can charge it at Explorer Hotels? The short answer: Yes. There are charging stations at all locations. You can find all further information here 👇
Everything at a glance
You can charge your electric car at EVERY Explorer Hotel. There are four charging stations from ChargeOne (without cables).
How much does it cost to “ad hoc charge” my electric car?
The charging stations at Explorer Hotels are public ChargeOne charging stations (without cables).
Ad hoc charging is only available in Germany. Your electric car is charged directly by ChargeOne, the Explorer Hotels' provider. To do so, simply scan the QR code on the station, enter your details, and off you go.
Charging prices: €0.45 / kWh
*Blocking fee: €0.10 per minute for periods of 12 hours or more
Please note that *currently in Austria you can only charge your car with a roaming contract.
Roaming contract - charging card
You can easily charge your electric car even with a roaming contract. Roaming charging is done using charging cards or apps from various providers. The terms and conditions of the respective provider apply.
*Charging prices & blocking fees: vary depending on the contract.
Please note: Every provider charges blocking fees after a few hours! We have no influence over this.
What is a blocking fee?
The blocking fee ensures that the garage charging space is not blocked without charging. After your electric car is charged, a blocking fee is charged. To avoid unnecessary costs, you can repark your vehicle in a free garage space (if booked separately) or choose an outdoor space.
What else do I need to consider?
The EV charging stations are located in the Explorer Hotels' underground parking garage. In addition to the charging costs, there is a parking fee. Please pay this at reception. Thanks ;)

Are the e-charging stations reserved for guests only?
Nope ;). Our motto is "Sharing is Caring" 😎. The Explorer Hotels' charging stations are visible on every EV charging station app and are therefore available to EVERY EV owner. Please note that for this reason, you cannot reserve an EV charging spot for the entire duration of your stay at the Explorer Hotel.
